Quick Add

Go to the "Exercises" and then "Questions" and select "Quick Add"

The following types of questions can be added using text format in vLab.

Use the following format to compose your questions:


Questions must be separated by at least two blank lines(blank lines no characters  at all even blank spaces).


Tue/false question: use \T or \F at the beginning of the line followed by a blank space and a paragraph.. It indicates that the answer is True or False. 



Single/Multiple choice: question prompts and choices should not have any leading blank spaces. There is no blank lines after the prompts. Each choice is marked with a label followed by a space. The following are acceptable labels:

The correct answers should have a * in the front. For example

*1. choice one

2. choice two

*3. choice three

means choice one and choice three are correct answers.


Fill in lanks: use ### to enclose the answers.


Matching: Prompts and then followed by matching pairs use -----(five -) to associate the pairs. For examples:

Match the expressions with the values:

1-----2-1

6-----2*3

7-----9-2


The pairs will be randomly shuffled by vLab system.
